North Base Area β Main Parking Lot

β Important: No overnight parking and no truck or trailer parking are permitted at any time at either base area.Β

Summer Parking Information
Construction is underway on on our new Gondola and snowmaking infrustructure, impacting parking availability.
- North Base Parking:
- Homewood High & Dry Marina, High Sierra Waterski School and SWA Water Sports guests can park at the North Base. Visit the Marina Office for your daily parking pass.
- Limited paid parking may be available on a first come first served basis at North Base during the summer season. Look for on-site QR Codes to pay quickly through our online parking system.
- Homewood is an active construction site this summer. Parking availability subject to change on a daily basis. Please abide by all signage. Any vehicles parked in undesignated parking areas will be towed at owners’ expense.
- South Base Parking:
- Reserved for Construction staging.

- Free, on-demand shuttle service in many West Shore areas.

State Route 89 Corridor Plan:Β
- Seasonal shuttle service offering scenic rides to Emerald Bay and other destinations.
- Pilot Program is set to begin on July 15th, 2025 with Shuttle Services from Sugar Pine Campground to Vikingsholm (Emerald Bay).
- Great for sightseeing without parking hassles!
- Please Note: While Homewood Mountain Resort does offer paid public parking, we are NOT a shuttle stop for the Emerald Bay Shuttle. More information coming soon!
