Homewood Love: A Pride Celebration on the West Shore

Celebrate love in all its forms this Valentine’s Day at the most scenic spot on Lake Tahoe! Homewood is proud to partner with Truckee Pride and Lake Tahoe Pride to host Homewood Love—a day dedicated to community, inclusion, and the joy of the mountains.
Whether you’re here with a partner, your “galentines,” or your favorite ski buddies, we’re turning the mountain pink and inviting everyone to join the party.
Wear PINK! We encourage everyone to deck themselves out in pink, rainbows, and glitter. Let’s make this the most colorful day of the season on the West Shore.
Homewood has always been the heart of the West Shore, and this Valentine’s Day, and every day, all are welcome!
The Day’s Itinerary:
- 12:00 PM | The Rainbow Ridge Group Ride: Meet us at the top of the mountain! We’re kicking things off with a community group ride down our iconic Rainbow Ridge run. It’s a slow, social cruise meant for all ability levels, bring your flags, your best pink gear, and your mountain spirit.
- 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Big Blue View Bar DJ Set: After the group ride, we’re heading straight to the Big Blue View Bar. We’ll have a live DJ spinning high-energy tracks at 7,000 feet. Soak up the sun, enjoy the best lake views in Tahoe, and toast to the community with a signature cocktail or a Home Again IPA.
- The After-Party at 89 Bar & Grill: When the lifts stop spinning, the love keeps flowing. Join us at the base for an official after-party at 89 Bar & Grill. Expect fireside vibes, drink specials, and a chance to connect with members of Truckee Pride and Lake Tahoe Pride.
