Getting to Homewood

Winter Weather is likely to impact travel in the Tahoe Region. Be sure to check CalTrans Road Conditions for the latest information on chain controls and road closures. Be prepared with a full gas tank, chains and/or snow tires, a shovel, and an ice scraper plus essentials like extra snacks, water and blankets.

Planning your Day

Winter weather creates additional challenges for our operations teams when it comes to guest safety and providing an exceptional experience. This can mean delayed lift openings and/or terrain closures. Bring your patience and a good attitude and please respect all closures and signage – it’s there for your safety! Visit our Snow & Conditions page for the latest information on lifts, runs, and grooming.

– Always ski or ride with a buddy.
– Carry a cellphone, and know the number for ski patrol 530-525-6842.
– Avoid Tree Wells.
– Be aware of changing conditions and unmarked obstacles.
– Respect all terrain closures.
