7:40 a.m. While we’re excited to see this much snowfall on the West Shore, storms of this size also mean a lot of work behind the scenes to safely get the mountain ready to reopen. Our mountain operations, grooming, and ski patrol teams are out early digging out lifts, clearing access areas, assessing terrain, and preparing the resort so we can welcome everyone back safely.
Because of the intensity of the storm and ongoing snowfall, all lifts will be on hold this morning while crews complete essential safety work. Our top priority is delivering a safe experience for guests and staff, and that takes time after a major storm cycle like this.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to stay home, stay warm, and stay safe, especially as road conditions remain challenging and avalanche danger can increase during and immediately after big storms. Fresh snow is exciting, but safety always comes first both on and off the mountain.
Resort Operations Update:
• Homewood retail, rentals, and 89 Bar & Grill will be open until 12 p.m., with hours to be extended if lift operations begin earlier.
• Big Blue View Bar will be closed today but will resume normal operating hours tomorrow.
We’ll continue sharing updates here and across our social channels as conditions evolve and we work toward opening terrain. Thanks for your patience and support while our teams do the hard work needed to get Homewood ready after a storm like this.
