Homewood skiers and boarders begin the evening by enjoying special "after-hours" lift access to the mountain from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. After skiing by moonlight, they can swap their mountain gear for party attire and head over to the West Shore Cafe to enjoy live music, signature winter drink specials such as the Moonlight Martini and Moonlight Cocoa, costume themes, and a delicious dinner - in addition to an unobstructed view of the moonrise. Homewood and West Shore Cafe are known as Tahoe's best location to celebrate the moonrise over the lake year-round and this winter's Full Moon Rising parties are scheduled for Saturday, January 26; Monday, February, 25; and Friday, March 29, 2013.
You can attend the Homewood half of the Full Moon party by simply just staying on the mountain and extending your ski day. Anyone who purchased a lift ticket or has a season pass is welcome to stay at Homewoof and enjoy the after-hours skiing off Quail Chair. To attend the West Shore Cafe portion of the party, you can call 530-525-5200 to make a reservation or just head across the street for an apres ski celebration and continue your ski day into the Full Moon night.
